    1. I want boy friends who would dress up as girls for me, please? Hilarious and heartwarming, the best read for a truly stressful day.

    2. 5/5 Stars!Okay real review time!I am absolutely in love with this manga series! Even though what I've read so far is very similar to the anime, I'm still really enjoying it.The twins are probably my favourite characters and I can tell them apart very easily hehe. These are such quick reads and I'm really looking forward to reading more very soon!To anyone who is a little hesitant about reading Manga, I highly recommend this series!

    3. Rating 3.5Not bad. The only problem I have with this manga (also with the manhwa Bride of the Water God) are the drawings of the characters. If I didn't follow the anime series years back, I'd be in a tight pickle now, trying to tell one character from another.

    4. I think Host Club is at its most enjoyable when it hits that nice balance between zany situations and a coherent story line. This volume was giggly fun, with some calmer moments mixed in. I also liked all the small glimpses of back-story that are starting to pop up for each of the characters.

    5. Mangas are great especially Bisco Hatori’s they are amazing! I love the cover on this one it’s great! Well I read this issue a long time ago so I’m sorry this isn’t a real review!

    6. It's a fun read. The plot isn't so hard to follow since it has a "one story per chapter" concept. The characters are pretty varied, which is good. This is what many Shoujo manga lacks, so it's a good point for this. This series is pretty popular. I assume this is because of the reverse "Senpai notice me!" action and the easily likable character portraits. The only thing I don't really like about this is the plot. The story sometimes moves too fast and I feel the need to put it down and think "Wha [...]

    7. Re-read 02/18This volume contains the episode about the Zuka club, and it's always made me feel a bit uncomfortable. It always comes across as a littlehomophobic. I mean, Tamaki literally said that he doesn't believe lesbians really exist. However, the episode ends with the club seemingly accepting the fact that people can be gay, and that there's nothing wrong with it. Soogress I guess? And Haruhi's dad is bisexual, and no one has a problem with that either. So, because I love this series so mu [...]

    8. I'm really immersed in the Host Club now, I've bought the next four volumes. This volume had me laughing out loud and smiling stupidly just as the anime did. It's my favourite of the three I've read so far.I was so nervous that I wouldn't like the transition from anime to manga. I was scared of preferring the anime because it wasn't the source material, and I had watched it first instead of the other way around. But as far as it seems, the two are pretty accurate and their are only minor differen [...]

    9. This installment introduced Haruhi's father and I would definitely say that I was surprised. Still, it was definitely interesting to have a unique bi character. They aren't all that frequent in American culture and this at least includes a bit of diversity and his relationship with his daughter is quite sweet. I continue to love Tamaki and his miguided "protection" of Haruhi. He's an idiot, but he has good intentions. The competition for Haruhi (At least betweem the twins and Tamaki) definitely [...]

    11. Summertime, and the livin' is easy! Now that school's out, the privileged members of the Host Club have more time on their hands, so of course their thoughts turn to their favorite member - Haruhi! While basking in the comfort of Kyoyo's family resort, which had left Haruhi singularly unimpressed, she did express a surprising interest in going to the beach. So, it's off to the beach for the Host Club! While Club President Tamaki has visions of watching the sea with a bikini-clad Haruhi, the real [...]

    13. We are finally getting passed the point I'm at in my rewatch of the anime. We're starting to see some character development, especially in the twins and Tamaki. I loved seeing Haruhi's home and there was a cliffhanger so that's fun. The only problem is I don't think the library has volume 4, so I don't know what I'll be doing, lol.

    14. Hokay, I'm kind of freaked out by Kyoya's apparently-fake-out-attack on Haruhi. I'm also not sure what Haruhi was really supposed to learn there - that she should remember that, as a woman, she's vulnerable? Ummm . . .But I read the manga for the humor first and then the pretty pretty, with plot a distant fifth or sixth, so that stuff didn't bother me too much.

    15. The volume that launched my Kyoya shipping. Nothing to gain, indeed. Other amazing things that happen in this volume: the introduction of the Zuka Club, the hilarious Witch's Curse episode and the boys visit Haruhi's home and try very very hard not to upset her.

    16. Volume 3: in which the Zuka Club are actually polyamorous lesbians, and Haruhi's dad comes out as canonically bisexual.

    17. The Host Club's visit to Haruhi's home is just as hilarious as it is in the anime (one of my favourite episodes!), but the beach and Lobelia storylines were definitely perfected in the anime.

    18. *****Scorri per recensione in italiano*****Another very funny book from Host Club series: Bisco Hatori knows well how to mix somewhat serious episodes that shows the characters's psychology with others episodes that are totally absurd, almost nonsense, for example the one about the Zuka club.My favorite story is the one when the Club's guys invites themselves to Haruhi's house: I laugh a lot seeing Tamaki's expectation compared to the reality and his extremely over-reactions to Ranka's mistreatm [...]

    19. Read as part of the PopSugar Reading Challenge 2017, to fill 38) A book set around a holiday other than Christmas.(Totally cheating with that PopSugar Challenge, but shh. There's a significant portion of the book set at Halloween leave me alone.)I fucking love this series. I don't know how to review them individually because really it's all one long story. I still love it.And the 'Excessive Theatre' section at the end of this volume literally had me in tears of laughter. The author legit drew (v [...]

    20. After the fiasco at Kyoya’s spa, the gang goes to the beach where Tamaki and Haruhi get into a fight.Later, a lesbian group tries to steal Haruhi from the host club. Then it’s time for Halloween which means more tricks than treats with the twins are around.Lastly, everyone makes a visit to Haruhi’s house. Let’s just say there’s a cliffhanger ending. Also there’s a funny extra at the end. This series has 18 volumes.

    21. Some of my most favorite episodes of the anime are in this volume!! Like that time all the hosts go to Haruhi's house and finally meet her father (who is 1) bi and 2) a drag queen!!! talk about an inclusive manga!)Not to mention the little cute scenes between haruhi and tamaki that just makes my heart melt <3

    22. Waaaa me encanta.Aquí se pueden notar más las diferencias entre el manga y el anime, en capítulos como el de la playa y el de Haloween.Me gustan demasiado los extras que agregan, espero pronto seguir con este manga, es hermoso ♥
