    1. (Source: I received a digital copy of this book for free on a read-to-review basis. Thanks to author Lisa Orchard.)“Your drummer has a problem. You know that don’t you?”Wow! What an instalment in this series! Please tell me there is a fourth book?!I felt really sorry for Lark in this story, to lose what she lost hurt her so much, and it was clear to see how much her grief was affecting her. Talk about coming right out of the blue too!I shake my head while never taking my eyes off her face. [...]

    2. Lark Singer has faced some tough times, just growing up, being a socially awkward teen, and following a dream that she firmly believes in. To reach her goals, she will face emotional turmoil, insecurity, deceit and the pain of losing one of the best parts of her life. The next hurdle could make or break her dreams of being a rockstar and sharing her love of music with the world. Is she ready for what is to come?Lark and the band have worked hard, played hard and are rock solid for the upcoming c [...]

    3. Lark was an okay character again in this one, and I felt really sorry for her at one point. This installment is definately the best one in the series. It didn't drag at all as there was quite a lot going on, and finally getting to see the competition was exciting! Overall, An enjoyable read, and the best in the series.

    4. The series is getting better and better. There is an open ending and some things are not resolved so I hope there will be a book 4?!(view spoiler)[ First the Dad issue and then the continuing blossoming of Larks relationship with her Mom were interesting parts of the Story. And then the competition - that was really exciting and I loved that they won!! But then their strange night of waiting and searching for Bean. I thought something scary would be coming but the abrupt Scene of her Mom telling [...]

    5. I received this book in an exchange for an honest reviewO-M-G!!!What a devastating tragedy, I truly felt sorry for Lark. Her moment of triumph was turned in to a loss. She grieved and I felt her grieve. I felt like I could sense her loss dripping through the pages! But I still can't believe it took her that long to accept what was happening to Bean and Stevie who knew what was happening long before Lark did. Took no action, nothing. Zilch. Zero. I couldn't believe they both acted like bystanders [...]

    6. I received a copy from the author, in exchange for an honest review. Actual Rating: 4.75 This is definitely the best of the series. It was a great installment! I loved Lark. I thought I got to see more of the vulnerable side of Lark, which made me intrigued than the strong willed girl. This is a fantastic read. It is a YA contemporary story with music infused to it. I thought the story was great. The secondary characters were great as well. Can't believe that (view spoiler)[ she met her father a [...]

    7. Starlight was a lot more enjoyable to me than the previous book in the series. There were happy and fun filled moments, as well sadder ones. The story was gripping almost from the beginning, because I really wanted to see how certain things from the previous books were handled/resolved. There was still a lot of repetitiveness, too much for my taste, so that's why I gave it four stars. All in all though it was a very nice read and I'm looking forward to reading any future books in this series.I r [...]

    8. What an amazing addition to this series. My heart broke along with larks. (view spoiler)[ the pain of bean`s death was even felt by me! its so raw and i will openly admit i cried many times during the second part of the book (hide spoiler)]

    9. Reviewed by JoAnneBook provided by the author for reviewOriginally posted at Romancing the BookThis is the third book in the Starlight Chronicles series and I hope it won’t be the last. If it is scheduled to be the last book in the series an epilogue would have been nice to tie up all the loose ends and the loose ends is what prevented me from giving it a 5 star rating. Orchard is a fairly new to me author since I’ve only read this series but I do plan to add her other books to my always gro [...]

    10. Even though their music is rocking, and they’ve upped their practice time, Lark is beginning to realize that it may not be enough. Duane McIntyre, the boy’s whose nose she broke in grade school, has made it clear that he’s competing in the musical competition as well and he plans to win. With the competition coming up, things are starting to go downhill quick with Bean and Lark’s worried that if she doesn’t do something she’s going to lose the boy she loves and the musical career she [...]

    11. Truth be told, I felt pity for Lark throughout the whole book. Learning about her father and then there's her denial and too late finding about Bean. I was hoping, really hoping that she would have obviously realized what was happening with regards to Bean but that was just disappointing. At some point I just wanted to stop reading but I wanted to know how this one would end. I had an inkling just a tiny one and you can just imagine my reaction how it ended. I wonder why nothing could have been [...]

    12. This book was given free by the author for an honest review. The 3rd book in The Starlight Chronicles and OMG! What a fantastic book. As soon as I started it I couldn’t put it down. Lark, Bean & Stevie don't have long to go until the band competition and the pressure is on them all to make sure they achieve their dreams and win. But with fierce competition and secrets within the band, will Lark be able to cope with all that is about to come out and threaten her future and the future of the [...]

    13. wow and sad but still a lesson to learn . so what do you do when you know your best friend is stealing from you but is maybe doing more harm to himself in the long run . side not what people do does affect others . remember that when you do something that you think only affects you , doing drugs affects you but it also affects others in your life whether it be at work , home , school or everyday life . and what do you do when you find out something that changes you more than anything else . [...]

    14. Lark, Bean and Stevie are in a band together, competing against Duane 'Duh-Wayne' and his band for a chance to be on a show. As the week goes by, Lark finds out about her father who dumped her mother before she was even born and becomes suspicious when she sees Bean, her boyfriend, hanging around a guy in black at her school.I will not continue with the story as to not spoil it.Overall, I think this story is very well written but could have done with a little bit less of the 'let's jam' or 'afte [...]

    15. I won this book through LibrayThing in exchange for an honest review. This book is the 3rd book in the Starlight Chronicles and I just fell in love with it!!!!!!!!!It was such a page turner. The character of Lark Singer, shows how she is faced with some struggles. I do love how she follows her dream and she along with the band work really hard for the upcoming competition they have. This competition is everything for them, because it can make or break their dreams.I am trying not to give too much [...]

    16. To be able to capture the emotions of a teenager perfectly is a gift. I know when I pick up a YA series that I am going to be transported into the past, my awkward teenage years, Lisa Orchard is able to do just that. My heart breaks for Lark, and even though I felt like shaking her at times, I understood were she was coming from. I was able through the whole series to relate to Lark. I felt that it was a bit rushed but it didn't take away from the story. I really hope we get more of Lark's story [...]

    18. This is the first book I read in this series, so that may have prevented me from connecting to the characters as much as I would have liked. The author does dialogue really well, and that is what I most enjoyed. There were some unexpected twists in the story but it dragged a bit in places. Overall a quick read; would definitely appeal to anyone who's into music or has ever dreamed of joining a band.

    19. This was a really good story, it is part of a series. I generally do not like series but this one was able to pull me in. Bean was a good guy who got into some bad stuff. Bean is in a band with Lark the leading lady. Lark was a nice girl who just wants a better life. I didn't love this story but it had some good plot twists and characters. Lisa Orchard wrote a great story that seems to lead to a great series.

    20. Review for Starlight, Gideon Lee and Lark Singer:First let me start by saying that I appreciate all the hard work and dedication it takes to write a book, I like reading ARC’s because it gives me a chance to read something outside of my normal genre so here where my dislikes and likes about the bookFormatting was good, not sure if it was because it was an ARC but when I turned my iPad sideways it made the page weird and I had to scroll down to finish the page, I’m someone who reads in the tu [...]

    21. The Starlight Chronicles just keep getting better. With the competition right around the corner, Lark and her band are in top form. The dark spot is that Lark’s grade school nemesis is also competing and is doing what he can to get into her head, or is that really his angle? Since the talk about her father, Lark and her mom have a new relationship. In fact everything seems to have a positive spin, until tragedy strikes leaving Lark to try to pick up the pieces. It was great to Stevie fleshed ou [...]

    22. Okay this is the last part of the series and I feel like meh and WTF. I saw that the series had potential and I hoped this last book would be the best in the series due to progress in the author and books but this is just a flat fall. Im sorry but this book was just nothing for me. I was so bored out of my mind and everything was so pretictable. I can see that this book and this series is really a young adult series and nothing for adults becuase there is, nothing in this book that is for adults [...]

    23. This is the third book in The Starlight Chronicles. With the Band Starlight practicing hard and trying to get ready for the competition, which is coming up fast. We see Lark see things more positive now, she is off to good relationship with her mom again. Until things right around start to fall apart and will Lark be able to pick up the pieces this time? Lark finds out that Duane is also going to be in the competition and this is one thing she does need from her past. Bean is slowing unraveling [...]
